Privacy Policy

This is the English version of our Política de Tratamiento de Datos Personales. If there is any difference between the two, the Spanish version governs.

1. Data controller

2. Legal framework

This policy is governed by articles 15 and 20 of the Colombian Constitution, Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and any rules that amend or supplement them.

3. Definitions

Data subject: the individual whose personal data is processed.
Personal data: any information linked to, or that can be associated with, an identified or identifiable individual.
Processing: any operation on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, circulation or deletion.
Authorization: the prior, express and informed consent of the data subject to the processing of their data.
Controller: whoever decides on the database and the processing of the data.
Processor: whoever processes the data on behalf of the controller.

4. Data we collect

Identification and contact data: name, company, job title, email, phone, city or neighborhood.
The content of the messages you send us through forms, email or WhatsApp.
The details of the appointments you book with us.
Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and cookies.
If you are a client: the data needed for contracting and invoicing, such as your ID or tax number (NIT) and billing details.

We do not ask for sensitive data.

5. Purposes of processing

We process your data to:

Answer your questions and requests.
Schedule meetings, calls or technical visits.
Prepare assessments, proposals and quotes.
Deliver the contracted services and support them.
Invoice and meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Send you information about our services, only if you authorize it. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Measure how the website is used in order to improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Measure which Google ads bring us inquiries, in order to invest better in advertising, only if you accept advertising cookies.
Protect the security of the website and prevent fraud.
Handle requests, complaints and claims.

6. Sensitive data and data of children and adolescents

We do not ask for sensitive data. If we ever ask you for any, you are not required to answer.

We only process data of children and adolescents with the authorization of their legal representative, respecting their best interests and fundamental rights, and taking their opinion into account according to their maturity.

7. Rights of the data subject

As a data subject you have the right to:

Know, update and correct your personal data.
Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
Be informed about how we use your data.
File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), after first completing the inquiry or claim process with us.
Withdraw your authorization or request the deletion of your data, when no legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
Access your personal data free of charge.

8. Authorization

We ask for your authorization before processing your data: through the consent checkbox on our forms, when you book an appointment, or through unequivocal conduct such as writing to us by WhatsApp or email to request information. We keep proof of that authorization.

For analytics and advertising cookies we ask for your authorization through the cookie notice shown when you enter the site. If you tap “Reject” or do not answer, we do not use them. You can change your decision at any time in section 12.

10. Procedure for inquiries and claims

Inquiries. You can ask which data we hold about you. We answer within ten (10) business days of receiving the request. If we cannot do so within that period, we will tell you why and give you a new date, which will not exceed five (5) additional business days.

Claims. If you believe your data should be corrected, updated or deleted, or that we are not complying with the law, you can file a claim. Include your identification, a description of the facts, the email or address where we should reply, and any documents you wish to provide.

If the claim is incomplete, we will ask you to complete it within five (5) days of receipt. If two (2) months pass without you completing it, we will consider it withdrawn.
If we are not the competent party to resolve it, we will forward it to the appropriate party within two (2) business days and let you know.
Within two (2) business days we will mark your data with the label “claim in progress”.
We answer within fifteen (15) business days from the day after receipt. If we cannot do so within that period, we will tell you why and give you a new date, which will not exceed eight (8) additional business days.

11. Service providers and data transfers

We do not sell or share your personal data. To operate we use providers that process it on our behalf, as processors: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and office tools, appointment scheduling (Calendly), messaging (WhatsApp), web analytics (Google Analytics and Ahrefs) and online advertising (Google Ads). Some of them store information on servers outside Colombia, for example in the United States. By giving us your authorization you accept that international transmission, which we carry out with providers that offer adequate security and confidentiality.

12. Cookies

Cookies are small files that the website stores in your browser. We use three types:

Technical: needed for the site to work, to keep it secure and to remember your cookie choice. They do not require your authorization.
Analytics: tell us how many people visit the site and which pages they view. We only use them if you accept them.
Advertising: tell us whether you arrived through a Google ad and whether you then contacted us, and allow Google to show you alwaysConnected ads. We only use them if you accept them.

If you do not accept, Google only receives information without cookies, which does not allow it to recognize your browser on later visits.

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which count visits without storing cookies in your browser.

You can see how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.

Change your decision: clear your cookie choice and the notice will appear again so you can choose. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

13. Security

We apply reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect your data against loss, consultation, use or unauthorized access. Only those who need it to fulfill the purposes of this policy have access to it.

14. Retention and validity

We keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purposes of this policy and for the periods required by accounting, commercial and tax regulations. The databases will remain in force for as long as Inversiones Jumarpab SAS carries out its corporate purpose.

This policy is effective as of November 2, 2026. If we change it, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date.
